My awesome December.

Hello readers! =D
We finally meet again!
I'm indeed a bad blogger. Haha!
Well, I don't blog for a living. You see, I only blog when I'm very very free or when I'm bored.
Anyway, it's the 2nd day of the year 2010 already! That means I'm officially 20 years old this year! I still remember the time when I was 16. But I'm glad to be finally turning 20! Hehe.

How was December 2009 for all of you?
It was a very, very delightful December for me. I think it's my best December yet in my whole life. Haha! I had so many activities going on. Posts will come up slowly here. Don't worry. =)
It was a very fun and relaxing month for me.
I can proudly say nothing went wrong in December. =D

The main highlights in December would be:

- Christmas presents (giving and receiving)
- Christmas season (much time spent with family and close friends, not forgetting the food!)
- Singapore trip (shopping and food was awesome)
- Cooking and baking (most I've done this whole year)
- Malacca trip (food galore! i just weighed myself and I didn't put on any weight! =D )
- Cameron Highlands trip (first trip for HL with my family)
- Best parties with all my close friends (everyone's on holidays so noone was left out)

I've thought about my New Year resolutions. I've never really made any before this. I guess to have a few main ones would be much better than having so many and only accomplishing a quarter of them. So, here goes!

- The most important one. Care about the feelings of people around me, family and close friends, like I would want them to do in return.
- Go through the year 2010 smoothly and more amazing with the boyfriend like we did in 2009
- Lose some weight till I'm 48kgs consistently (currently 50 - 52kgs)
- Travel to 2 countries at least (Australia's coming up soon. The other I really want to go to is Bangkok)
- Retain my close bonds with my girlfriends (holla them or just a simple text more constantly)
- Study more consistently and maintain my good results this year (my results last year was really good. Hehe.)
- Save some money every week from my pocket money (to fund for my shopping and trips)
- Lastly, enjoy every single day of 2010.

*This will be copied and paste, reviewed and assessed on the 31st of December this year. Hehe.

Now, pictures time! I know you all love pictures. =)

*December bakes!*

*Martha Stewart's Surprise Cookies*

*Banana Nutella Bread*

*Apple and Cheddar Cheese Loaf*

***More bakes and cooking on my Christmas post! =)

*Final photoshoot pictures*

We were helping Vonnie for her photoshoot assignment. Had so much fun doing the photoshoot with my dear friends. This is my first time so don't shoot me. =p

*That's a wrap! mwah!*

I'll be back soon again for more updates! I have backdated updates from 9th of December. Haha!

Going for seafood dinner at Teluk Gong, Klang with the bunch tonight. Haven't been there before. Heard food's good! Till then!

When two become one

*Peggie and Kevin's wedding*
-6th December 2009-

I love weddings. The whole ceremony.
I especially love fairytale weddings and the wonderful decorations that takes hours and hours of preparations and of course, lots of ka-chings! Hehe.
I love how the bride looks just absolutely beautiful and that she's the center of attention the whole night.

Peggie and Kevin's wedding was just one of those wedding as mentioned above.
*Btw, Peggie is HL's cousin.*
Fairytale of not, I wouldn't know because I don't really know them that well to know their love history.
But what I know is that, they paid lots and lots of money to make the wedding a very beautiful one.
I would say this is one of the most beautiful weddings I've been to yet. =)
The pictures below will definitely do all the talking.

*The wedding was held at Palace of the Golden Horses and we had a room to ourselves, paid by the couple.*

*Breakfast place.*

*Off to the groom's place for tea ceremony. The had antique cars for their wedding.*

*Going to the wedding dinner.*

*The hotel's really nice.*

*Super long walkway which looks absolutely beautiful.*

*The inside of the huge tent.*

*The lights are just too pretty.*

*The main table.*

*Never have I been to a wedding which provides a beverage list WITH expensive drinks and freeflow.*

*The 8 tier wedding cake.*

*Love the purple and white roses.*

*First dish.*

*Jimmy Choo! Giving his speech.*

*The bride and groom.*

*All the attendees waiting for the fireworks display.*

*Really beautiful and expensive fireworks. Haha.*

You can see from the pictures how much they've spent on the wedding. But it was really beautiful. =)
I want mine to be even better than this next time. haha!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas celebration. Mine was just great. =D
Will be going off to Camerons tomorrow for a short vacation.
Blogging will resume with speedy updates very soon!

What's been happening?

*Tom, Dick and Harry's grand opening*
-3rd December 2009-

Tom, Dick and Harry's is a restaurant and bar which serves good food and reasonably priced beer. It's been open for a couple of weeks now and business is really good from what I've been hearing. Opened by a good friend of mine, Colin and a few other partners, I must say, this bar's the one to go. They serve a huge variety of alcohol and beer. I've come to like cider beer. Hehe.
I've been to a few bars before and many appears to be too dark and rowdy.
This one has a warm and comfortable atmosphere.
The best thing is it's well aired so it doesn't smell of ciggies too much. =)
If you're interested, it's located at TTDI, beside SpeedMart/Boathouse.

*Had my dosage of Cupcake Chic before going to the bar though I don't fancy it. Haha.*

*The place was packed due to the free flow of beer on that day.*

*Barrels of beer behind the bar.*

*Seafood at South Sea with the girls*
-6th December 2009-

This is my second time to South Sea for seafood and I must say, they're really getting richer and richer by the day. Haha!
They did quite a big renovation and interior decoration. The place looks so much better now compared to last time when it was just plain ugly chairs, tables but good seafood.
The food's still good but I think it's too commercialized already and it's quite expensive compared to a few other places which serves good seafood too.

This was my last time seeing SuYi. She's back in Aussie now. The next time I'll be seeing her would probably be 6 months from now or more. Sighh...
However, she's still the same old SuYi. She haven't changed a bit except for that funny slight accent. Haha!
Will be missing you and take care of yourself! Mwahhh!

*The place was packed. You'll have to wait if you haven't made any reservations. Luckily we did!*

*Chinese fried rice*

*Fried squid*

*Buttered scallops*

*Claypot taufu*

*Awesome salted egg crabs*

*Fried mantao*

We went over to SuYi's house after for some Malibu, chocs, Snowie annd Buddie! =D

*Missing you. You've missed out too much. Grr!*

I'll be back with more updates soon! =)

Happy holidays! =)

So sorry guys. I haven't been updating lately.
A lot has happened and is happening.

Let's see, Su Yi was back and now is gone again, went to a fantabulous wedding ceremony, Malacca trip was real fun, Singapore trip was awesome, Zoukout 2009 was an experience, baked a few new stuffs and Maisons for the first time was superb.

I guess I won't be updating regularly.
Will try to find the time to update short posts on all these recent activities.
If not, check back after New Years Day! HAHA.
I kid you not. I'm really busy till next year.
Will be going for a short holidays to Camerons on the 27th of December.
Can't wait for New Year's Eve countdown after that. =)

Lotssss of love and enjoy the holidays!
Don't forget to be safe while you go around having fun!

Welcome back Su Yi!

Dearest Suyi is back from Aussie for holidays! She got back on the 1st of December and will be flying off on the 14th of December. =( So fast. We barely have time to hang out.

Anyways, we went to her house and surprised her on the day she got back! Hehe.
She was shocked when we rushed into the door and hugged her.
We bought different types of roti canais, tosai and also ramly burgers as we know she won't be eating these often in Aussie.

It was out first time and also her first day meeting her new dogs Snowie and Buddy!
They're so cute yet so naughty. Buddy's the elder brother. He's more matured whereas Snowie lovesss biting people's hands. Naughty boy!

We talked about everything! It was a really nice time with the girls. =)

*Snowie*

*Shoo cute!*

*Buddy. They get jealous and 'merajuk' when the other gets more attention. Hehe.*

*LOL! LeeLee's expression was so funny.*

*That's how Snowie bite. He bites the whole damn hand, mind you. We have to smack him to teach him when he bites. Haha!*

That's about it! ;) We went for seafood dinner the other day and had a even better time gossiping away after. Stay tuned for that!

November 2009 randoms

So November has ended and it's now the last month of the year.
November was great and December's definitely going to be so much better.
Christmas is my favourite celebration of the year! =D Can't wait.

Will be heading to Singapore this Thursday too! Yippee!!!
I need those pork satey, fried omelette with oysters, cheap shopping (SALE!, Orchard Road, new ION mall), and the night safari (never been there before). =)

Enjoy the pics ahead!

*Restaurant Nirvana Maju*

Where do I go to satisfy my banana leaf rice cravings? Nirvana! Haha.I went there again for lunch today. They have awesome banana leaf rice. Priced at rm8 for the vegetable rice set and a big piece of fried chicken. I always, always eat till I'm just too full. Blame it on the bottomless rice.

*Tom, Dick and Harry's*

My friend, Colin, just opened this bar and restaurant. It's located at TTDI. Food's good and the drinks are very reasonably priced. Go check it out! Owh, and they have Hoegarden. So if you're a fan if it, you can head there now instead of just The Library! ;)

*Yellow Cab*

I've seen this shop around, wanted to try but haven't had the time. Finally tired the branch at Heritage Row the other day. Pizza was really good. They put lots of toppings and the pricing is quite reasonable although you might think it isn't, which was what I thought at first. However, it's really filling and I'm stuffed after my 2nd slice.

*TGIF*

I love their Jack Daniel's burger. It is the best burger I've eaten to date. ;) I had TGIF for lunch yesterday also. Yummeh! Haha.

*Tarbush*

Came here for Daniel's bday celebration. My favourite here would definitely be the Briyani lamb! The serving is really big and it can feed 2 actually. Priced at rm22, it's not that expensive actually. Tarbush came up with Tarbush express sometime ago. It's like McDonalds but they serve Kebabs instead, or what they call, Sharwa. Hehe. I love their lamb kebabs.

*Chilis*

Went to Chilis with the family. The beef ribs was so good, really big serving of chicken salad, my salmon was alright, my dad's steak was good and the chicken with rice dish was not too bad either.

*Micah!*

My nephew Micah is so damn cute! Haha! He eats non-stop and loves watching Nemo. He watched it 7 times in my house. Yes. 7 times in a row. And he gets all excited when it starts all over again. LOL!

That's about it for some snippets from November. =)

End of first year degree

I've got great news to start a great month of December ahead! Hehe.

I just got my second semesters' results out and I rocked it! =D
Hello brainy me. Haha!
I was so scared it wouldn't be so good because I don't understand 2 subjects and I missed out on some online test.
But hooray! I managed 2 high distinctions and 2 distinctions!
Soooo happy and satisfied with my results. ;)

Accounting for Decision Making - 81 (HD)
Information Systems for Business - 87 (HD)
Economic Principles - 73 (D)
Introduction to Marketing - 75 (D)

My dad thought I got a 'D'. As in how they would grade A, B, C, 'D'. Haha!
I'm so surprised with my Information Systems for Business marks.
I was just praying for a pass or credit because even during the exams I still don't know if my answers are correct or not.
And, the whole paper's subjective based.

But, I'll laugh this out to myself because I know I'm that smart. LOL!!!
* I even got the best marks amongst all my friends! =p *

I'm not boasting, just taking in my moment. =D
